What age group is Spooky Bash suited for?Our Spooky Bash program is perfect for primary kids aged 7 - 11. We also welcome those confident 5-6 years olds, although spaces are limited. The program is designed to provide a fun and safe Halloween experience tailored to suit this group, ensuring two days of excitement and challenges they'll love.

Why do children aged 5-6 have a different ticket?We’ve designed a special experience to ensure that our youngest participants have a fun, safe, and engaging time tailored to their needs: Dedicated Area: Younger children will have their own comfortable space, separate from the older kids, but still close enough to reach out to a sibling if needed. Alternative Activities: We’ve planned a variety of age-appropriate activities to keep everyone entertained. If any activity proves challenging or less engaging, alternative options are available to suit their interests. Scavenger Hunt: Instead of the escape room challenge, which might be more suited for older kids, we’ve arranged a fun scavenger hunt perfect for this age group. Safety Wristbands: Each child aged 5-6 will wear a red wristband, making it easy for our staff to monitor and ensure their safety throughout the event. Consistent Instructor: To provide a sense of familiarity and comfort, Diana and Bella, who are fantastic with younger children, will be with them throughout the entire rotation.

Can I purchase tickets for one day only?No, the Spooky Bash is a two-day event and tickets are available for both days only. Join us for the full experience to enjoy all the spooky fun and activities!

What Spooky activities are in store for Spooky Bash participants?At Spooky Bash, we’ve planned a variety of fun and engaging activities for everyone to enjoy: Epic Bash Finale: Featuring DJ KitKat, where kids can dance to popular hits and enjoy a lively atmosphere. HipHop Dance Battle: Join in an epic dance battle with our immaculate dancers, perfect for showing off your best moves. Spooky-Themed Games: Get ready for creative and exciting games like the “Ghostly Giant Ball,” “Shadow Tag,” and “Zombie Ball,” all designed to entertain and challenge. Wacky Relays: Participate in fun and energetic relay races with a spooky twist, perfect for friendly competition. Laser Tag: Test your skills in a thrilling laser tag game, where you’ll have to out manoeuvre your opponents. Scavenger Hunt: Younger participants will enjoy a fun and interactive scavenger hunt tailored just for them. Always Something New: With a variety of activities and surprises, we guarantee there will always be something fresh and exciting to discover. With these activities and more, Spooky Bash promises a memorable experience for all!

What group sizes will my child be participating in?Spooky Bash is designed to provide a vibrant and exciting party atmosphere for many children. To ensure everyone has a fun and supportive experience, participants will be organised into smaller groups based on their age and assigned to competing houses. Group Size: Each team will consist of approximately 10 children, ensuring excellent supervision and safety. Safety Standards: We strictly adhere to all NSW ratio guidelines, maintaining a safe and well-monitored environment for all participants.

Are there any allergy precautions?Yes, we have a strict nut-free policy. Please ensure any food brought to Spooky Bash adheres to this guideline.

Will the event go ahead if it's raining?Yes, Spooky Bash will proceed as planned even if it rains. We have access to the hall at Freshwater Senior Campus and have a comprehensive wet weather program to ensure the fun continues indoors.

What precautions are made to ensure my child is safe at all times?Staff-to-Child Ratio: We adhere to education and care services guidelines for educator-to-child ratios and space requirements. Trained Staff: All staff members are in accordance with our risk and emergency management plan. WWCC Certification: Every staff member and volunteer holds a Working with Children Check (WWCC). First Aid: There are staff fully trained in first aid on site to handle any emergencies. Your child's safety is our top priority and we have stringent measures in place to ensure they are safe and well-cared for throughout their time at Spook Bash.

What should my child bring to Spooky Bash?Pack lunch and morning tea for your child: Please ensure all food is nut-free. Water Bottle: Staying hydrated is essential. Closed shoes: For safety and comfort. Sunscreen Applied: Protect their skin from the sun. Sunscreen will also be available at regular intervals throughout the day. Hat: Essential for outdoor activities. Python Packs: Drink & JooJoos Mega Snake. Available for purchase at $5 cash on the day.

I hear it's dress up—what should my child wear?Costumes: We welcome dress up! If your child prefers not to wear a costume, they might want to wait until day 2 to join the dress-up fun for our DJ Kitkat Epic Finale. Comfort: The most important thing is that your child is comfortable and can move freely. Appropriate Footwear: Closed shoes are a must for safety and comfort. Available: Exclusive Spooky Bash t-shirts are available for pre-order at registration and for purchase at sign-in for that special event feel ($15).

Our plans have changed—can I get a refund?If it is more than 72 hours before the event and you require a refund, please contact us at info@spookybash.com.au. Tickets are transferable, but both parties must reach out to us promptly. Note: Refunds cannot be processed if requested within 72 hours of the event.

Can parents stay and watch?Parents are welcome to drop off and pick up their children but the event is designed for kids to enjoy independently. Rest assured we have ample supervision and activities planned.

Are there any additional costs?Beyond the optional $5 Python Packs and $15 T-shirts for purchase, all activities, prizes and extras are included in the ticket price.

Pick-ups are strictly no later than 4pm on both days. If you're running late—what should I do?If you anticipate being late, please contact us as soon as possible [refer to the pre-event email for contact information]. This helps us reassure your child and make necessary arrangements. At Spooky Bash, we strive to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. Please make arrangements to ensure your child is pick up promptly to maintain smooth operations and respect our staff’s time.

Term & ConditionsSpooky Bash Terms and Conditions 1. Registration and Payment: - Full payment is required at the time of registration. - Confirmation of registration and ticket will be sent via email upon receipt of payment. 2. Cancellations and Refunds: - Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the start of the camp will receive a full refund. - Cancellations made within 72 hours of the start of the camp are non-refundable. - In the event of a medical emergency, a full refund may be provided upon receipt of a valid medical certificate. 3. Program Changes and Cancellations: - We reserve the right to cancel or change Spooky Bash dates, activities, or venues due to unforeseen circumstances. - In the event of a cancellation, a full refund will be provided. 4. Health and Safety: - All participants must complete a health information form before attending the event. - Any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements must be disclosed at the time of registration. - Our staff are trained in first aid and will take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of participants. 5. Behaviour and Conduct: - Participants are expected to behave respectfully and follow the event rules at all times. - Disruptive behaviour may result in dismissal from the camp without a refund. 6.
